Attenuators gloves of radiation, in natural rubber (not latex), mixed with high density lead oxide.
Can reduce significantly the ionizing radiation energy and radioactive contamination for which the operator’s hands are subjected during activity with brightness amplifier, or during the handling of radioisotopes.
They also protect from chemicals and microorganisms.
They are also recommended for operators allergic to extractable latex protein and dust.
The gloves are supplied in sterile single packs made at Gamma Rages (25 KGy) and are re-sterilizable to ETO, or in a 120-degree steam autoclave for 20 minutes.
Under these conditions, the gloves can be re-sterilized up to 8 times.
Available types:
- Lightweight: 0.20 mm nominal thickness;
- Middle: 0.33 mm nominal thickness;
- Heavy: 0.45 mm nominal thickness.
Sizes: 6 ½, 7, 7 ½, 8, 8 ½, 9.
